Man killed in early morning shooting outside Ricky’s Sports Bar in Pembroke Pines

A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning in the parking lot of Ricky’s Sports Bar & Grill, according to the Pembroke Pines Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 2 a.m. at 8389 Pines Blvd. When they arrived, they found an man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries. His identity has yet to be released.

Police say the incident appears to be targeted and not a random act of violence. No suspect information has been released at this time.
