Two people were shot and killed during an altercation at a Miami food truck early Monday, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said.

Just after midnight, MDSO deputies responded to reports of a shooting at NW 27 Avenue and NW 30 Street in Allapattah.

Deputies said they found a man and woman on the ground with gunshot wounds. The woman was identified as 27-year-old Jeankerely Maria Linares Marin.

Upon arrival, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced Marin dead at the scene. The man was transported in critical condition to a hospital, where he died.

A MDSO investigation revealed a second woman argued with one of the victims before the situation escalated. An unknown person brandished a gun and shot at three of the victims, killing two.

MDSO’s Homicide Bureau is investigating.
