A drive-by shooting early Wednesday morning in South Miami Heights has left one man dead, police say.

At about 1 a.m., Miami-Dade Police officers arrived to the area of 19331 SW 116th Ave. after reports of a man being shot.

Police say Esteban Arrufatt Jr. was standing in front of a house when a car drove by with an unknown amount of people inside and shot him.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rushed him to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he later died.

Police offer a $5000 reward for information related to Arrufatt’s killing. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are urged to call 305 471 8577.
