Woman found shot dead in car on Halloween night in Opa-locka, officials say
A woman was found shot inside a car on Halloween night in Opa-locka, police say.
At about 10:30 p.m. Opa-locka officers arrived at 4073 NW 135th St. after reports of an “unresponsive female inside a car,” according to Miami Dade police spokesperson Angel Rodriguez.
Miami Dade Fire Rescue took her to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she was declared dead, Rodriguez said.
Police have detained a man and say the killing is domestic-related. Police say they’re working to determine the family ties.
The Miami-Dade Police Department’s homicide bureau is investigating.
