A 17-year-boy was shot multiple times Sunday evening in south Miami-Dade, Miami-Dade Police said Monday.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert at 6:50 p.m. Sunday at 17954 SW 104 Ave. near Perrine.

Upon arriving, police found the teen with apparent gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported him to Jackson South Medical Center, where he is in critical condition. Police did not identify the victim.
