Two people were wounded and taken to the hospital in a shooting Friday morning in Miami, authorities say.

At about 9 a.m., Miami police received several reports of shots fired via ShotSpotter in the 6900 block of Northwest Seventh Avenue. The gunfire detection system routes suspected gunfire audio to dispatchers tasked with alerting police.

When police arrived, they found two injured men, who were then taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center by Miami Fire Rescue. Police say they aren’t in critical condition.

Police did not immediately disclose details of what led to the shooting, and no arrests have been made as detectives continue to investigate.

This report will be updated as more details become available.
