Man hospitalized after carjackers hit him with a bat, stole his car in Brickell, cops say
A man was hurt during a carjacking in Brickell early Sunday morning near 83 SW 8th Street, police said.
According to Miami-Dade Police, a verbal argument occurred between eight and ten people, and the police were called around 5 a.m. The victim of the carjacking was hit with a bat before the thieves stole his car.
After the incident, the victim was treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s emergency room and is still at the hospital recuperating from his injuries.
Police found the car and the investigation is ongoing.
