Fort Lauderdale police and U.S. Marshals arrested a man they say shot and killed another man at a Mexican restaurant early Monday morning.

Police say Cesar Esquivel Estrada, 46, shot 34-year-old Socorro Camacho inside Antojitos Mexicanos, a restaurant located at 3943 Davie Blvd., around 1 a.m. Monday.

Camacho was dead when officers arrived around 1:30 a.m., said Detective Ali Adamson, a Fort Lauderdale police spokeswoman.

According to police, Estrada opened fire during an argument between the two men.

Security camera footage from inside the restaurant obtained by Local 10 shows the two men arguing, Camacho pushing Estrada to the ground, and finally, Estrada racking a handgun, shooting Camacho once, then continuing to fire into him after he fell behind the bar.

Estrada was arrested on one count of first-degree murder, Adamson said. Information on his bond or legal representation was not immediately available.
