An early-morning shooting Friday left one man dead, police say.

At around 6: 29 a.m., Miami-Dade Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 900 block of Northwest 80th Street. Upon arrival, they found a man with gunshot wounds, police say.

The man was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue in critical condition, where he later died.

Police say no arrests have been made and they are investigating. Police have not identified the victim.
