Employee of Kendale Lakes tattoo shop shot and robbed, Miami-Dade police say.

A man was shot and robbed Thursday night at Eazy Street Tattoo in Miami-Dade County.

A man was injured during a shooting Thursday night at a tattoo shop in Kendale Lakes, according to Miami-Dade Police.

Police say the shooting happened around 8 p.m. at Eazy Street Tattoo in the Miller Shops Plaza at 13433 SW 56th St. Two tattoo shop employees were taking a work break near the back of the business when they were approached by two armed men who demanded their belongings.

One of the armed men shot the victim in the back as he attempted to run away. The men allegedly stole property from both of the victims, including jewelry, before escaping in a vehicle. Police said their relationship with the victim is not known yet.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital by a bystander.Authorities report he is in stable condition.
