Man shot in the Gladeview neighborhood, Miami-Dade police say. One person is in custody
A man was hospitalized after being shot multiple times Monday afternoon in the Gladeview neighborhood of Miami-Dade County, police say.
The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. at the 7600 block of of Northwest 27th Avenue, said Detective Andre Martin, a Miami-Dade police spokesman. One person is in custody.
Arriving officers placed a tourniquet on the man’s leg before paramedics took him to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Martin added.
Police have not named the 40-year-old man.
