The Liberty City shooting, on Northwest Seventh Avenue just south of 58th Street, killed a man in his 20s. The Little Haiti shooting, around 6:45 p.m. near Northwest Second Avenue and 52nd Street, sent two men to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition. One of them died.

“It is possibly gang related and we are still looking into it possibly being related. Possibly the same rival gangs in both,” a Miami police spokesman said.

Anyone who knows anything about either shooting can call Miami police at 305-603-6350. Or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers of Miami & the Florida Keys, 305-471-8477 (TIPS).
