A 57-year-old man was killed during an overnight shooting on a Coconut Grove street, according to Miami police.

When officers got to 3320 NW 37th Ave., near the intersection of Oak Avenue and Douglas Road, around 1:30 a.m., they found the man in the street. He later died at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

Police say they don’t know “what he was doing at that time, but the incident appears isolated.”
