Two people in Gulfstream Park shooting know each other, Hallandale Beach police say

Police say they have identified a possible suspect in a shooting outside a bowling alley at the Gulfstream Park shopping complex, but have not made an arrest as of Thursday morning.

Hallandale Beach police called the shooting an “isolated incident” but did not say what prompted it. Capt. Aaron Smith told the Miami Herald that the shooting suspect is a woman.

“All we know is that the shooter and the victim knew each other,” Smith said.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday outside Strike 10 Bowling at The Village at Gulfstream Park, 901 S. Federal Hwy., police said. After the shooting, the wounded person was taken to nearby HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, where they remained in critical condition Thursday morning.

Police said no one else was injured.

According to 7News, two cars were towed from the crime scene.
