Woman injured in New Year’s Day car-to-car shooting in Southwest Miami-Dade, cops say
A car-to-car shooting in Southwest Miami-Dade County wounded a woman early Monday morning, according to police.
Around 1:30 a.m., a woman and two men were in a car going south on Southwest 139th Avenue when a person in another vehicle shot at them near 261st Street, Miami-Dade police said. After the woman was shot, she was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported. Police have not announced an arrest in connection to the shooting.
