Knowledge about a murder at a Miami-Dade gas station could be worth $5,000
Not much is known about the Sunday morning shooting at a North Miami-Dade gas station that left a man dead. Adding to that minimal knowledge, however, could be worth $5,000.
That’s the maximum reward offer from Crime Stoppers of Miami-Dade & the Florida Keys for tips leading to the arrest of the shooters at the Westar at 715 Opa-locka Blvd.
Miami-Dade police say they know only two masked men did the shooting at 9:54 a.m.
The only reason the victim’s identity is known is Crime Stoppers released his name, Dustin Bennett, and photo on social media. Police said the victim’s family invoked Marsy’s Law rights, which prevents Miami-Dade police from releasing any information about him.
