A Broward man was shot dead 400 feet from home. Information can bring a $5,000 reward

There’s money on the table for information about why Pompano Beach’s Donelle Hunter was shot and killed just over 100 yards from the home Hunter lived in with his mother on a Saturday evening.

Broward Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in solving the July 1 shooting of Hunter near the corner of Northwest 17th Terrace and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. After calls at 6:20 p.m. about a shooting brought Pompano Beach Fire Rescue to the corner, fire rescue workers took Hunter to Broward Health North.

That’s where Hunter died. He was 35.
