Someone shot and killed a Miami-Dade father. A reward is being offered for information

A father was shot and killed in North Miami-Dade Tuesday night, police say.

Miami-Dade police say a 9:22 p.m. ShotSpotter alert brought them to the 1700 block of Northwest 75th Street Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, Crime Stoppers of Miami-Dade & the Florida Keys identified the man as Anthony Mallory Jr.

According to his Facebook page, Mallory went to Norland Senior High School and is the father of a 5-year-old girl. He was 26 years old.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the shooter. Crime Stoppers can be reached online or at 305-471-8477 (TIPS).
