Saturday night shooting near a city hall in Broward hospitalizes two people, BSO says

Two people were shot Saturday night in Lauderdale Lakes in a block comprised of city buildings, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

BSO said the 8:45 p.m. shooting happened in the 4300 block of Northwest 36th Street. City Hall is 4300 NW 36th St. and the Lauderdale Lakes Senior Center is 4340 NW 36th St.

Both people were taken to hospitals with injuries. They’re expected to survive.
