Two men killed, two people detained in Pompano Beach shooting, Broward detectives say
Two men were killed in a shooting Thursday morning in Pompano Beach and two people have been detained for questioning, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened around 11 a.m. near the 300 block of Southeast 11th Avenue, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The victims were pronounced dead on scene.
The sheriff’s office is asking people to avoid the area of Southeast 11th Avenue and Southeast Third Street.
