Deputies searching for SUV after fatal grocery store shooting in Pompano Beach, BSO says
Broward detectives said Wednesday they are searching for an SUV involved in a shooting that left two dead and two others injured over the weekend in Pompano Beach.
Investigators are looking for a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Florida tag 28BSTR, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Broward Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the shooter or shooters.
On Sunday, a 9 p.m. report of shots fired brought deputies to the 400 block of Northwest 27th Avenue, where they found four victims with gunshot wounds outside a neighborhood grocery store, BSO said Monday.
They were taken to Broward Health North, where a man and a woman were pronounced dead. Another man and a juvenile survived the attack with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities didn’t release additional information.
