Woman’s body found near wooded area in Miami-Dade might be missing Broward woman
A woman’s body was found near a wooded area Wednesday afternoon in Northwest Miami-Dade, but the investigation isn’t being handled by Miami-Dade police — it’s being handled by the Broward Sheriff’s Office, which believes a Fort Lauderdale-area woman’s husband murdered her and disposed of her body.
BSO hasn’t confirmed whether or not the body is that of 39-year-old Mimose Dulcio, last seen Nov. 10. After the sheriff’s office issued an arrest warrant for Dulcio’s husband, Jose Luis Pacheco, he was arrested Monday in Miami-Dade on a charge of second-degree murder. Pacheco remains in Miami-Dade Corrections custody, awaiting a transfer to Broward.

The body was found in the 5500 block of Northwest 204th Street. One database says Pacheco has immediate family living a mile and a half from there.
BSO said Tuesday that investigators found evidence in the couple’s Dodge Charger that suggested he murdered Dulcio in their home and disposed of the body.
The two were in the process of getting a divorce. Dulcio’s sister Seminta Dulcio told Miami Herald news partner CBS Miami that after not hearing from her sister, she went inside their home Friday and found broken cellphones.
