One person killed and three others injured in Miami Gardens shooting, police say

One person was killed Sunday evening in a shooting in Miami Gardens that left three more victims injured, police say.

The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Northwest 163rd Street. Police say Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took survivorsto the hospital after declaring one person dead.

Miami Gardens police declined to provide the victims’ names and other identifying information Monday night. Police spokeswoman Diana Gourgue said law enforcement didn’t have any information about who fired the shots.
