Man killed, another injured in Sunday double shooting outside Miami-Dade grocery store

A man was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning outside a grocery store in Miami-Dade between Miami and Hialeah, police said.

At 1:51 a.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the area of the Foodland Market, 4610 NW 32nd Ave., near Brownsville, Miami-Dade Detective Angel Rodriguez, a spokesman for the agency, said Tuesday.

Upon arrival, officers said they found the man shot, and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced him dead just minutes later. The second man, shot in one arm, was taken to the hospital in stable condition, Rodriguez said.

As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made in connection to the shooting, Rodriguez added.

Authorities didn’t release additional information.
