Video of brawl in front of fiery motorcycle crash goes viral. Cops say no major injures
It was a scene straight out of a movie in Hollywood Friday night: a motorcycle on fire, a car crashed and fighting in the street. The video of the commotion went viral on social with thousands of views.
On Friday night, Hollywood police were called to a crash between a motorcycle and a car near Taft and U.S. 411, HPD Spokesperson Deanna Bettineschi said. There were no major injuries.
Details on what exactly happened are light. While police said there was a fight before officers arrived, it is unclear if anyone was charged or arrested. How the crash occurred or the exact conditions of those involved is also unknown.
Video acquired by Only In Dade shows what some called a “post-apocalyptic” scene.
Two men grappling with each other and fighting in front of the fiery wreckage of a motorcycle is seen in the first moments of video, which has drawn more than 23,000 likes on Instagram alone.
As the men fight, one wearing a motorcycle helmet, they push each other backwards into a Ford SUV in the middle of the street.
Bystanders are heard yelling “watch the explosion,” most likely referencing the motorcycle on fire behind them.
Later in the video, police are seen arriving as firefighters put out the blaze.
This is a developing story.
