A Broward hit-and-run driver killed a 69-year-old. Here’s the Range Rover’s description

MONDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: Lauderhill police said the woman hit was 69-year-old West Palm Beach woman Jan Yelle.

Sunday night, Lauderhill police released pictures of the Range Rover they say was involved in a hit-and-run that killed a senior citizen pedestrian in Sunday’s first hours, Lauderhill police said.

The tragedy happened around 3:15 a.m. in the 3300 block of West Broward Boulevard. Lauderhill police said a 2019 dark gray Range Rover by Land Rover, Florida license tag No. 98AMZH, hit Jan Yelle as she crossed Broward Boulevard’s westbound lanes.

Yelle was taken to Broward Health Medical Center where she died.

The Range Rover should be missing the Land Rover emblem on the front grill and have damage to the front end and windshield.
