Here’s the car Miami Gardens cops want to find after a hit-and-run killed a 57-year-old

As Kerry McCutchen’s family paid their respects to him Wednesday afternoon, Miami Gardens police still searched for the black 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-class car and the driver who killed him.

The 57-year-old was crossing Northwest 183rd Street at 32nd Avenue around 3 a.m. Friday. Cameras caught a black 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-class, heading east on Miami Gardens Drive — hitting McCutchen and leaving him for dead without stopping.

The driver’s side of the car would have damage to its front end and a missing front lip on the bumper. Police say the plastic housing from the driver’s side front wheel well should be gone also.

Anyone who knows anything about the car or driver can call Miami Gardens police at 305-474-1617 or, to remain anonymous, contact Miami Crime Stoppers online or at 305-471-8477 (TIPS).

Services for McCutchen will be held on Friday, 11 a.m., at Bibleway Church of Our Lord, 18301 SW 102nd Pl.
