One dead after rush hour shooting on Miami-Dade bus, police say

A passenger-bus driver dispute turned into a fatal shooting Monday morning during rush hour, Miami-Dade police said.

Police say a man, identified Wednesday as 28-year-old Sergio Guadron Conrado, got on a Miami-Dade Transit bus at the Golden Glades Park & Ride just before 7:30 a.m. and quickly got into an argument with the bus driver.

The man got off the bus, which had no passengers, but returned. A security, guard, identified as Shalonda Bryant, 38, boarded the bus and a fight ensued.

She eventually shot the man, who died before Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived.
