New Jersey man charged with Broward woman’s death, sheriff’s deputies say

A New Jersey man has been charged with murder after Broward deputies found him outside the home where a woman was found dead Monday night.

Just after 8 p.m., deputies were called to the 2700 block of Northwest Sixth Court in unincorporated Central Broward County, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies found a woman inside who Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue later pronounced dead.

The sheriff’s office did not release the woman’s identity. Outside the home was Mateusz Lubnicki, a 29-year-old man from New Jersey. Deputies took him into custody.

Lubnicki was charged with murder dangerous depraved without premeditation. As of Wednesday, he remains in jail.
