Shooting at Broward party leaves two dead, two hurt, law enforcement says

A 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were killed after gunfire broke out at a party in central Broward early Sunday morning.

Two others were also injured in the incident being investigated by Broward Sheriff’s Office.

On Monday, BSO identified the man as Deon White of Fort Lauderdale and the woman as Lunide Dennis of Tamarac.

The incident happened in the 3000 block of Northwest 12th Court around 1:30 a.m.

Reports of shots fired drew deputies to the location. White and Dennis died at the scene. BSO said that two other people who were wounded were taken to Plantation General Hospital by bystanders.

BSO did not release any other information about what led to the shooting.
