A man was shot, killed in Broward County. Deputies want to know how it happened

Broward deputies are searching for information on a man shot several times and killed on Thursday night.

At about 10:45 p.m., deputies received a report of a shooting in the 2800 block of Northwest Second Street in unincorporated Broward, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

When deputies arrived they found Jamar Madison, 33, shot multiple times. He was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

As detectives kept investigating, it was found that no one else was injured.
