A woman was injured early Wednesday when she was shot at while driving along Interstate 95, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The woman was driving south on I-95 in the area of Northwest 62nd Street when someone inside a dark-colored sedan opened fire, according to the FHP. The shooting happened around 4 a.m.
She was treated by fire rescue for minor injuries on her right hand and was not taken to the hospital. It’s unclear if her injuries were caused by a bullet or broken glass.
Video taken by WSVN later in the day showed the woman’s gray Chevy sedan being towed away near Northwest 17th Avenue and 62nd Terrace. The car had bullet holes in its driver and passenger side window, as well as the windshield.
Anyone with information that can help with the investigation is asked to call *FHP.
