Naked man broke in, vandalized Miramar High School, cops say. Now, he’s behind bars

A naked Florida man spent “an entire day” vandalizing Miramar High School and caused thousands of dollars in damage, police said.

Matthew Crandall, 21, was arrested and charged with breaking into Miramar High and significantly damaging school property — all while naked, Miramar police said. Crandall was charged with criminal mischief and two counts of burglary.

Miramar police say he vandalized the school for nearly 24 hours. Surveillance footage shows him entering just before 8 a.m. Monday and still gallivanting around the premises around 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

During that time, he broke computers, painted graffiti on walls and flooded certain areas of the school, according to police. School officials estimated the cost of damages at $100,000.
