A man is fatally shot in SW Dade mobile home park. Three are being questioned, cops say.
A man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon in a Southwest Miami-Dade mobile home community.
Three people who were found nearby were detained by police and being questioned.
Police were called just before 4 p.m. to a shooting at 12941 SW 10th Terrace.
When officers arrived, they found the man dead in the middle of a street of an apparent gunshot wound. He was not far from a car, police say.
Chris Thomas, a spokesman for police, said three people were also found in the area.
“Because the individuals were close by, we believe they may know each other,” he said.
Thomas said detectives are hoping people in the neighborhood come forward with information.
“We are asking the neighbors if they heard or saw something to speak to the detectives. so that we can piece this together,” Thomas said.
