Double stabbing at Air Around the Clock sends 1 man to the hospital, 1 to jail, cops say
A Thursday morning double stabbing at Air Around the Clock sent one man to the hospital and one man to jail while a third was treated on the scene, police said.
Alrick Brown was arrested, Sunrise police said.
All three were employees of the air conditioner contractor known in South Florida by its billboard (“Your wife is hot. Better get your A/C fixed”) and radio (sports radio host Joe Rose singing a takeoff on “Rock Around the Clock”) advertisements.
Around 8:15 a.m., according to Sunrise police, an argument escalated to where one man got a knife out of his car and stabbed another man in the lower back. The second person cut got lacerated trying to break up the fight. He was treated on the scene, but the first victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
