A Hialeah man died after being shot multiple times Monday afternoon, police said, and a 23-year-old woman has been charged with murder.

Karina Corbalan faces a charge of second-degree murder after Alejandro Sanchez, 28, died at Ryder Trauma Center. Hialeah police say Corbalan shot Sanchez in the parking area in front of the house at 5680 West 21st Ave., which one database lists as Sanchez’s home.

Video from Herald news partner CBS4 shows a Mercedes parked in front of the house with several bullet holes in the windshield.

Though police didn’t detail how Sanchez and Corbalan knew each other, Corbalan’s Miami-Dade Corrections entry says this is a domestic violence case.

Corbalan completed a pre-trial intervention program in October on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence.
