Officers are looking for someone who fired a shot into a car full of people on an Interstate-95 exit ramp in Hallandale Beach.

Florida Highway Patrol officers said a man, woman and baby in a silver Nissan Altima exited the highway near 3031 W Hallandale Beach Monday afternoon when someone in an older model Nissan fired a shot at them, hitting the man, before speeding off.

The man who was shot was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. His injury did not appear to be life-threatening.

FHP Lieutenant Yanko Reyes said they don’t have a description of the shooter, details on the car or even a hint at a motive.

“We don’t know at this time,” he said.
