Four shot outside Allapattah club
As many as four people were shot outside a Northwest 36th Street lounge early Friday morning. The wounded were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, though Miami police said no one appeared seriously injured.
The shooting, outside The Flow Bar at 2450 NW 36th St., sent people scrambling for cover.
A bouncer at the lounge told Miami Herald news partner CBS 4 that the shooting happened around 5 a.m., and that a waitress at the club was shot in the leg.
Police weren't certain early Friday about what caused the shooting or exactly how many people were shot because some of the victims were driven to the hospital by friends.
The altercation began inside the bar, moved outside and then the shootings happened, said Miami Police Det. Freddie Burden.
Police had left the scene at the lounge by 7:30 a.m., but a black four-door Dodge they were checking for evidence remained outside the bar, which has some windows shuttered.
