Miami-Dade police: Man sought in attempted murder case
Miami-Dade investigators on Saturday were searching for a suspect wanted in connection with the stabbing of his girlfriend and with an unrelated hit-and-run crash.
Law enforcement authorities said that Jorge Eduardo Borda, 33, stabbed his girlfriend as she was sleeping in her home near SW 166th Street and SW 149th Place on Wednesday night. She survived the attempted murder and remains hospitalized in stable condition.
The next day, said police, Borda collided his car with another car and then assaulted the driver. Police said Borda is known to frequent the area of SW 104th Street and SW 108th Avenue
