A driver was killed Tuesday night after a trooper was “forced” to open fire during a traffic stop near a north Miami-Dade transit hub, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. at the entrance of the Golden Glades Park & Ride at 16000 NW Seventh Ave.
FHP said the trooper was not injured. It did not identify the driver.
