Shooting in Miami sends five people to the hospital

A shooting in Overtown late Saturday night wounded five people, Miami police said.

The shooting happened at 9:30 p.m. near the corner of Northwest Eighth Street and Fifth Avenue.

“One is still in critical condition and the other 4 are expected to survive.,” Miami spokesman Michael Vega said Sunday afternoon.
