Body found in Walmart parking lot being investigated as a homicide
A homicide investigation has begun after a body was found in a Walmart parking lot overnight Friday, Coconut Creek cops say.
The dead adult male was found at the Walmart Supercenter, 5571 Hillsboro Blvd. around 3 a.m. He was later identified as Michael Robin Griffin, 56, of Coconut Creek.
Coconut Creek police say they found him after worried friends called because he was overdue at a friend’s home. They gave cops a few places he might be and one of them was Walmart.
