Broward Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who detectives say tried to break into a Pompano Beach home and ended up shooting a man.
This all happened at a home near the 2800 block of North Course Drive around 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 1.
BSO believes the gunman followed a visitor to the home. The victim saw a gun barrel through a doorway opening and tried to slam the door. The suspect, however, apparently was able to fire several shots into the home, hitting the victim several times. The man suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives are looking for a black male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-foot-8 inches with a stocky build with a beard. He was last wearing a gray T-shirt with black writing and camouflage shorts or pants.
