He took his shirt off in a McDonald’s booth — but first he snatched a cellphone, cops say
A man walked into a McDonald’s, sat down at a table and took off his shirt.
Hollywood police say the bizarre behavior came after he snatched a cellphone from a person in front of a nearby Publix and then took off running.
On Monday, police released video of the chain of events that took place at around 11:30 a.m Aug. 13.
The video shows a man in a white tank top grabbing something from a man walking into the supermarket at 1700 Sheridan St.
“The suspect then flees the scene northbound to a nearby McDonald’s restaurant, where he is seen on surveillance cameras taking his shirt off and sitting at a table,” police said in a news release.
Anyone with information is asked to call Hollywood Police Department at 954-764-4357(HELP) or 954-967-4411. Tipsters can also call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
