Teen arrested for drive-by shooting that left three injured, police say

A 17-year-old was arrested this week after Coral Springs detectives say he was responsible for a drive-by shooting that left three people injured.

Ty-Quan Snell, of North Lauderdale, faces charges including five counts of first-degree attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm from a vehicle.

According to Coral Springs police, three men were wounded in a drive-by shooting at 7951 NW 35th Court just before 11:30 p.m. Aug. 24.

The victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

On Sunday, detectives secured a warrant for Snell’s arrest. Police said he was taken into custody Tuesday in Coconut Creek.
