A man told a robber two times he had no money. He was shot after each answer, cops say
One man walked up to another on Monday and demanded that he buy a watch.
The unwilling customer said he had no money.
The man shot him in the leg, Miami-Dade police said.
When told to cough up money a second time, he was shot in the other leg, officers said.
The violent encounter happened at 5 a.m. Monday in the 26000 block of South Dixie Highway in South Miami-Dade.
Dennis Barajona was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital South in stable condition.
The gunman took off in a waiting car. He remains on the loose.
