A man was shot and killed inside a Miami condo on Biscayne Bay early Friday morning, police said.
Few details were initially released, other than the victim was a white male and police had ruled out a suicide, said Miami police spokesman Michael Vega.
The shooting happened just after 1 a.m. on the sixth floor of the Blue Condominium at 601 N.E. 36th St.
Vega said just after sunrise that police continued to investigate the scene for clues and that there are plenty of surveillance cameras and security at the plush condo.
Security had the building on lockdown for several hours as officers scoured the scene looking for the shooter, who remains at large.
