A Miami church guitarist has been accused of using his baby son to lure girls ages 6 to 10 into the back of the church van so he could fondle their genitals and buttocks.

Seeing girls ages 6 and 7 twerking tipped off the pastor’s daughter that something inappropriate might be going on somewhere, according to the arrest warrant.

Reneiro Rodriguez, 43, sits in county jail without bond on nine counts of lewd and lascivious behavior. Miami police's Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested Rodriguez on Monday night in Pompano Beach.

Cops, local and Homeland Security, had been looking for Rodriguez since last August. On Aug. 18, 2017, members of the Ministereo Evangelistico, 7175 NW Seventh Ave., alerted police what they’d learned over the previous 24 hours from conversations with five girls, aged 6 to 10.

Upon seeing the aforementioned twerking, Nancy Paola Simota gathered five girls to ask them where they learned the rapid hip thrust method of dancing.

“They responded that (Rodriguez) would make them dance at church this way,” the warrant said. “They also advised that he had touched them on their private parts when he was in the church transportation van with them.”

Simota and her father, the pastor, immediately told Rodriguez, a church member since March 1, 2017, what the girls said. They also told him he was banned from the church.

Miami police said Rodriguez's wife told them two days later that he came home Aug. 17, "grabbed some of his things and fled the house."

When special victims police spoke with the girls in August, the 6-year-old and 7-year-old told police that Rodriguez “also grabbed their hands and made them touch his penis over his clothes.”

The girls told police Rodriguez, whom they called “Neio,” molested them as they all rode in the van between church and their homes.

The warrant continued, “The girls largely stated that they were willing to be near (Rodriguez) in the back of the van because he would have his baby son with him and they liked playing with baby.”

Anyone who has more information or might have been a victim of Rodriguez can call Miami police special victims unit at 305-603-6300.
