He admitted killing his wife and her father, cops say. He didn't mention the unborn baby

Investigators say Fort Lauderdale resident Cassandritz Blanc admitted both that he killed his wife, who was six months pregnant, last month because she "disrespected" him and that he tried to dismember her body for easier disposal.

The arrest report doesn't record Blanc spending any words on his unborn child. Prosecutors did, however, in the form of a third count of first degree murder.

Blanc, 22, already faced first degree murder charges for the June 4 death of 20-year-old wife of eight months Martine Bernard and the June 9 shooting of her father, Roosevelt Bernard, 68. Detectives say Blanc also confessed to trying to set Roosevelt Bernard's body on fire after killing him with a shot behind the ear that went out Bernard's nose.
