7-Eleven manager charged with killing girlfriend, his boss, at store
A North Miami-Dade 7-Eleven manager faces a second-degree murder charge in the shooting death of his girlfriend, the owner of the convenience store.
Police say Rudolph Anthony Gonzalez, 51, shot his girlfriend and boss, Elisabethe Rose Silva, 52, during an argument Friday morning in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven on Northwest 103rd Street near Fifth Avenue.
According to the police report, Silva was sitting in the driver’s seat of her Mercedes-Benz when Gonzalez pulled a pistol out of the trunk of his BMW, opened Silva’s door and shot her multiple times. Gonzalez tried to get back in his car, but he’d lost his keys.
Miami-Dade police arrived soon after and arrested Gonzalez. He was taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where he is being held with no bond.
